:On a desktop 

Open Facebook and log in: Visit Facebook.com and enter your login information.                                                                                                       
Navigate to Settings:

In the upper right corner, close to the notification bell, click the downward arrow.
Click Settings after selecting Settings & Privacy.
Go to Name Settings:
Click on Personal Information under the General tab in the left column.


Click Edit next to your name.
Change your name:
Put your new last name, middle name (if you have one), and initial name here.
Select the formatting options for your name (e.g., whether to use a nickname).
Save the modifications: Click Review Changes after your edits are complete.
Facebook will ask you to select whether to use your full name or an alias.
Click Save Changes after verifying the update with your password.
